Please read the following. Here are your stories for the September issues.  If there is anything you are not sure about please come and see me or Miss Gibson.  Please can you get the text of these stories typed in word and to us as soon as possible, if is an event that happens nearer to the end of term obviously you’ll have to wait till when it has happened. If you need to borrow a camera come and ask.

Abby Brown – ‘We are now an Academy’ / changes to the school over the summer (interview Mr K)

Katherine Eastaugh – Creative Arts page to include – Play Review, Media, Dance, Art + Music News

Charlotte Eastick / Alison Gash – interviews with 6-8 Y7 pupils on experiences at Farra / comment from each year manager and comments from new intervention managers (see Miss Leach)

Isabella Taylor – Community/Activity Days and interviews with staff leavers (Mr Taylor – retiring, Miss Ashplant – leaving – any others??)

Emma Stubbs / Chelsea Jobling – ASP News(speak to Miss Holt) and interviews with news team members for profiles on back cover

Amber Peters – Gambia News (see Miss Schneider, Mr Horsely or Miss Ramshaw)

Rebecca Haswell – Library News (see Miss Hughes) Literacy News (see Miss McCarthy/Miss Sword)

Connor Peverley – Sports News to include end of term activity day with Y7 (see Mr Golightly)

Thanks to all news team members for your hard work on summer edition of Farra News. You should all be proud. We will all meet again in September to plan out Christmas edition so in meantime just have a think as to which articles you may like to do. 

Next meeting first Thursday back in September. Watch this space for details x

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO NEWS TEAM FROM MS GIBSON AND MRS BIRD

Well done for the latest online edition which went up on our school website this week.

Just to let you know we won't be holding any more news team meetings now till the new school year as the September edition is mostly already done. We will need a few of you to help us write the odd article or two but we'll contact you when we need you.  Thanks for all your hard work.
