Your stories ...

Good Afternoon  All,

I am posting a list of the stories you agreed to write for newsletter – if you can draft them as soon as possible (by 8th Nov at the latest) I will then assign you a second story to complete.  A few tips on setting it out – the 5 W’s in first paragraph, develop story, and include a comment from someone if you can. Aim for 200 words max for a story.
  • Community Day - Ewan Stead
  • Open Evening – Matthew Cape
  • Gambia – Connor Peverley
  • Library News - Chloe Howe/Sophie Hill
  • Book Reviews - Charlotte Eastick/Alison Gash (2 books each – one for boys, one for girls)
  • Y7 – how I feel at Farra 1 term in – Matthew Walters (interview 6 people – they must be willing to have photo taken)
  • Review of school panto/Remembrance Assembly – Isabella Taylor
  • Review of local pantos – Molly McKeown (in Sunderland, Newcastle and Durham)
  • European Lang Day dress up/MFL news – Abbie Proffitt
  • Christmas around the world – Rebecca Haswell (pick 3 places)

Send finished stories to farranewsteam@gmail.com
If you weren't at the meeting but still intend to write for the news team please come and see me for a story.

Thank you and have a good holiday, Mrs Bird
